Evaluasi Manajemen Pemeliharaan Sapi Potong di Kelompok Tani Barata Jaya Kabupaten Tulang Bawang

The aim of this research is to evaluate the maintenance management of Beef Cattle in the Barata Jaya Group. The research was carried out in August 2023 in the Barata Jaya Group, Kampung Sungai Nibung, Dente Teladas District, Tulang Bawang Regency. The methods used in this research are: Observation, Interview, Literature study. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Variables Observed include: Seed Selection Management, Maintenance Management, Housing Management, Feeding Management, Animal Health Management, and Animal Reproduction Management. Research Data Analysis The data obtained is presented in the form of tables, pictures and analyzed descriptively. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that management of cattle rearing in the Barata Jaya group is carried out in a semi-modern manner, because many have not adopted the use of livestock technology such as AI but still use many traditional methods. The implementation of livestock rearing management by the Barata Jaya group is good and meets husbandry management standards. From several aspects such as housing management and livestock health management. The disadvantage is that it only relies on forage as daily feed without using ration design.
